A new accessory dwelling unit that will function as a flexible work, lounge, and visitor space met the brief of being clean, modern, and extremely small in footprint to preserve the mature shade tree and the existing home’s uninterrupted views of the West, while keeping with the Baker historic district’s requirements for specific materiality and form that is in line with Denver Landmark Preservation guidelines.
