Rethinking a few key elements of a 1940’s colonial in Park Hill while maintaining the character and layout help bring this charming house into a functional home for a modern family.

A charming one-owner Colonial in Denver’s regal Park Hill neighborhood needed a few areas rethought when purchased by a family of four. Many design options were explored to find the right layout for a reconfigured ktichen and dining area (a new arch echoes the hold, creating a slight separation as desired by the owners), as well as an enlarged master bath and closet. Respecting the existing bones and location of vintage steam radiators helped provide additional planning and design parameters.
