With three bedrooms upstairs in a traditional brick ranch home, this addition adds a master bedroom and closet space in a new, vaulted-ceiling addition, while preserving the footprint of the existing master bathroom to save cost while creating meaningful additional space for a growing family. The addition also became an opportunity to more intentionally shape different patio spaces for entertaining and relaxing in the large, shaded backyard.
